A campaign is the instruction set OwlReach uses to deliver a message to a selected group. It does not rewrite your prospect data. It reads the recipient, template, SMTP profile, and delivery settings when the send job runs.
The four campaign steps
- Group: choose which prospects are eligible.
- Message: write the subject and body, optionally using a saved template and shortcodes.
- Server: select the active SMTP profile and set a campaign recipient limit.
- Review: save as a draft, start immediately, or schedule for a later time.
Campaign states
- Draft means the campaign is saved but will not send.
- Scheduled means OwlReach is waiting for the scheduler time.
- Running means eligible recipients are being dispatched to the queue.
- Sent means processing completed; individual recipients may still show sent, failed, or skipped.
- Paused stops new dispatches while preserving the campaign records.
The campaign-level send limit is separate from the SMTP daily limit. A value of zero uses the available SMTP daily capacity; a positive value caps that campaign.
